In addition to the five festival appearances he previously announced, former Phish bassist Mike Gordon has added 21 headlining club dates to his upcoming tour. The full tour starts on June 30 in Northhampton, MA and winds down on September 7 in Boston, MA.
Gordon will be touring in support of his forthcoming album, “The Green Sparrow,” due on August 5. In light of a speculated Phish reunion somewhere down the line, Phish’s Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell are special guests on Gordon’s album.
There is also a possible Phish sighting down the line when three of the four members will be performing at the upcoming Rothbury Festival in Rothbury, MI on July 3-6. Guitarist Anastasio has just been added to the bill while drummer Jon Phishman will be sitting in with the bluegrass quartet The Yonder Mountain String Band.
