South Korean indie rock band wave to earth has announced a global tour and new album, confirming details for “The Pieces Tour.”
The tour is scheduled to begin on September 4 in Vancouver at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre. From there, the band is set to make stops in cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Atlanta and Houston before wrapping up their North American leg on October 11 in Irving, TX at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory.
After the North American run, the group will continue the tour in Asia in November, with confirmed dates in Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Osaka and Tokyo.
The announcement follows the release of the band’s new song “heaven and hell,” which arrived ahead of the upcoming album tied to the tour.
Fans can register for a Seated pre-sale beginning Wednesday, May 20 at 10 a.m. local time. The general on-sale begins Thursday, May 21 at 10 a.m. local time via livenation.com.
