Nashville will host its first Super Bowl in 2030, with the NFL announcing that Super Bowl LXIV will be played at the New Nissan Stadium.
The announcement was made Tuesday at the NFL Spring League Meeting in Orlando, following review by the league’s Fan Engagement & Major Events Committee and approval by NFL ownership. The game will mark the first time Nashville has hosted the Super Bowl, adding one of the world’s largest annual sporting events to a city that has increasingly positioned itself as a major live entertainment destination.
The new Nissan Stadium is scheduled to open in 2027, giving the Tennessee Titans and Nashville a new venue for both NFL games and large-scale events before the Super Bowl arrives three years later. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell pointed to Nashville’s 2019 NFL Draft as part of the city’s case for hosting, calling that event “one of the great fan events” in league history. The Titans noted that the 2019 draft drew 600,000 fans and generated $224 million in economic impact.
The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp will serve as the lead event organizer, coordinating operational planning and partnerships with city and state officials, while the Titans will act as the host club and provide stadium resources and operational support. Super Bowl week is expected to include NFL Honors, Super Bowl Experience, Super Bowl Opening Night and community initiatives, including NFL Source, the league’s procurement program for local and underrepresented businesses.
The announcement also immediately opened a ticketing and hospitality component for the 2030 game. On Location, the NFL’s official hospitality partner, launched a Priority Access deposit program for Super Bowl LXIV hospitality packages. According to the Titans announcement, the refundable, time-stamped deposits are intended to give fans early access to premium seating, hospitality service, food and beverage offerings, entertainment and other Super Bowl experiences.
The next four Super Bowl host sites are now set: Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California in 2027; Super Bowl LXII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in 2028; Super Bowl LXIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in 2029; and Super Bowl LXIV at Nissan Stadium in Nashville in 2030.
For Nashville, the selection represents another step in its push to compete for major national and international events, particularly around sports, music and tourism. Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp president and CEO Deana Ivey said the Super Bowl would allow the city to showcase “music, sports, culture, and hospitality” on a global stage, while Tennessee Governor Bill Lee framed the new stadium investment as part of a broader effort to drive tourism and economic growth.
